ABOUT THE BEANS
Belis is a washed Garnica coffee grown at 1400–1700 MASL in Atok, Benguet. The high elevation and careful processing result in a clean, vibrant cup with notes of calamansi, apple, and milk chocolate, balancing bright acidity with a smooth sweetness.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
This coffee comes from Sitio Belis, a small farming community in Benguet made up of around 100 families. Working in partnership with Kalsada Coffee, the producers focus on improving processing and quality, helping bring out the full potential of Philippine-grown coffee while supporting sustainable livelihoods.
ABOUT THE ROASTER
Mama Lola Coffee is a small-batch roaster focused on sharing the best of Philippine specialty coffee. The name comes from “mama” and “lola,” meaning mother and grandmother, and reflects a connection to home, family, and tradition. They source their beans directly from producers across the Philippines and roast them in London, aiming to highlight the unique flavours and stories behind each coffee.

Washed coffee (also known as wet process) is a method where the fruit is removed from the coffee cherry before the beans are dried.
After harvesting, the cherries are pulped, fermented in water to break down any remaining fruit, then washed and dried. This process highlights the true character of the coffee.
