Tasting Notes
Stone Fruit, Chocolate, Orange

An easy-drinking daily brew from Chirinos, Cajamarca in northern Peru, grown between 1800-2000m. Rich chocolate sweetness, juicy stone fruit character, and a bright hint of orange acidity. Clean, balanced, and approachable — the kind of coffee that works just as well as your morning espresso as it does a slow weekend pourover.

About the Producer

Finca Churupampa is a family-run farm and exporter based in Chirinos, run by the Tocto-Bermeo family. What started as their own farm has grown into a network supporting 28 local coffee-producing families. They provide practical support including drying infrastructure, organic compost, crop diversification, and biodiversity initiatives. This lot brings together coffees from producers across Chirinos, Tabaconas, and La Coipa — a consistent, approachable cup that reflects the character of the region while supporting sustainable farming communities.

More About Ripple

Washed coffee (also known as wet process) is a method where the fruit is removed from the coffee cherry before the beans are dried.

After harvesting, the cherries are pulped, fermented in water to break down any remaining fruit, then washed and dried. This process highlights the true character of the coffee.

What to expect in the cup:
Clean, bright flavours with crisp acidity—often citrusy or floral, with a lighter body.

In short:
Clear, crisp, and balanced.
